ABOUT THE
VINEYARDS
Why single-vineyard wines
The character of a wine originates in the vineyard. A wine is always a reflection of its surroundings.
of his time, his place and his people,
that accompany him. Each bottle preserves a moment, like a small time capsule.
Not everywhere vines grow do wines of the same depth emerge. There are vineyards that produce something special year after year. Even with comparable care and effort, they exhibit a unique character, a consistency, and an inner tension that can be tasted.
These age-old insights have accompanied us for generations. They remind us that exceptional wines originate in the vineyard and that provenance is more than just origin.
as a name on the label.

MY VINEYARDS
WINERY JUEN

LOIBEN LOIBENBERG
Wise, complex, and stunningly beautiful
The soil of these high dry stone terraces consists mostly of Gföhl gneiss,
A metamorphic rock formed from an acidic, granite-like parent rock. The sandy-stony substrate promotes drainage and facilitates root growth. Loess and Danube gravel formations are found at the foot of the Loibenberg, while pure granite is exposed in places at the summit.
Characteristics
Perhaps the most complex and richest of our Rieslings, with ripe peach notes and full nectarine aromas. On the palate, it impresses with its balanced texture, full body, and seemingly endless length, reminiscent of kumquat and ripe physalis.

STEIN PFAFFENBERG
Intense and captivating
The Pfaffenberg is a steep, southeast-facing slope near the Danube and therefore strongly exposed to wind and extreme temperatures. The bedrock consists of crystalline primary rock such as Gföhl gneiss, mica schist, and, in places, amphibolite. The soils are correspondingly stony, hard, and mostly free of lime.
Characteristics
An exceptionally aromatic wine with intense, multi-layered fruit notes of apricot, lemon zest, and candied tropical fruits. On the palate, it is characterized by incredibly vibrant elegance, with a delightful drinkability and a long, fruit-driven finish.
